I look strait up and what do I see? A little boy looking back at me. A fire truck, a limousine. A tall tree, I imagine green.
Look slightly left and what is there? A rabbit, a turtle, a baby bear. A woman stands with braided hair. But to this spot I mustn’t stare.
Back to the right I see a man with son and daughter hand in hand. They’re smiling as big as they can while like a stone they ever stand.
But now I cannot find the tree. The little boy I do not see. The fire truck and limousine have somehow vanished from the scene.
Where is the woman with braided hair? The rabbit? The turtle? Baby bear? I do not see them anywhere. I am so sad, do they not care?
Now I have even lost the man. I faintly see his daughter’s hand. The clouds have moved and cleared that land, but maybe a new one will span.
So now I look so hopingly at where the young boy used to be. To my surprise, what do I see? A new man looking down at me.
